RAISING FISH, PRAWNS/SHRIMP and other aquaculture
The aim of this experiment is to step through the entire process of what it takes to raise prawns/scampi/shrimp and other fish in relatively small sized ponds. I shall document these processes via photos, videos, research and my analysis.
Secondly, most research (which I will highlight as I go along) indicates that pond sizes ranging from 0.1 Ha to 1 Ha are considered economical. It is my hope to prove that it can be economical with a 0.03 Ha sized pond. However if it turns out that it is not economical at that size, then it will be a lesson learned.
The experiments will be carried out at Durga Farms which is located in Neral, Maharashtra, India in the Raigarh District. The farm belongs to my family and has access to water.
